FUTUREtakes welcomes
articles that contribute to a reasoned awareness of the future, advance
serious and responsible investigation of the future, and promote the
development of futures studies methodologies. In addition, FUTUREtakes
publishes book reviews, future studies exercises, discussion threads,
letters to the editor or equivalent correspondence, and summaries of
chapter programs. All published material will normally follow the
guidelines delineated herein for contributed articles.
To promote free dialog and the
exchange of ideas on matters concerning the future, FUTUREtakes
does not align itself with political parties, political action
committees, or political platforms. In addition, FUTUREtakes
does not advocate particular ideologies or political positions.
Any article or column published
in FUTUREtakes including any original article or column
written by FUTUREtakes editors represents the viewpoint of
the author(s) and does not necessarily represent the official position
of the greater World Future Society or of any WFS chapter.
Although FUTUREtakes will not knowingly publish any facts
that are incorrect, the author(s), by submitting an article to FUTUREtakes,
certifies that to the best of his/her knowledge, the facts contained
