This recent session, the first of a new annual series, featured five FUTUREtakes editors – all from different nations – who shared their perspectives on the ways in which today’s cultures will shape tomorrow’s lifestyles and value systems.  As a convenience to people who were unable to attend the session, we have posted the presentations here.  

Inspired by increasing cross-cultural interaction and its possible implications to the prevailing lifestyles and value systems, the series also seeks to facilitate thinking beyond cultural “event horizons” and to help leaders, planners, and others identify hidden culture-based assumptions that limit foresight thinking.  A third objective is to share knowledge and wisdom that can
